Who we are......

Our group is campaigning to preserve the last remaining natural grasslands around Calais (Kelles) Wood, Dunfermline.  The area is next to the ever expanding Duloch (Eastern Expansion) in Dunfermline, Fife, which in the last 10 years has seen a vast programme of residential building being undertaken. 

These last remaining open grasslands are also earmarked for development.

These grasslands are vital feeding grounds for the abundant and varied species of animals and birds that live there, and are a refuge for them in the midst of the house building already taking place in other close-by areas.

If this most recent development in the grasslands is allowed, then we will lose several species forever as well as a beautiful, natural green space.
